Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa
On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
ब्राह्मणं यदि दुष्प्रापं त्रिभिर्वर्ण: शतक्रतो
brāhmaṇaṁ yadi duṣprāpaṁ tribhir varṇaḥ śatakrato
Mātaṅga nói: “Hỡi Śatakratu (Indra), nếu một bậc brāhmaṇa chân chính quả thật khó tìm trong ba đẳng cấp, thì phải hiểu rằng brāhmaṇatva không phải chỉ là danh xưng do sinh ra, mà là một thành tựu hiếm hoi, đặt nền trên hạnh kiểm và giá trị nội tâm.”
