Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
यान्यगम्यानि तीर्थाणि दुर्गाणि विषमाणि च | मनसा तानि गम्यानि सर्वतीर्थसमीक्षया
yāny agamyāni tīrthāni durgāṇi viṣamāṇi ca | manasā tāni gamyāni sarvatīrthasamīkṣayā ||
Nếu một người khát khao được chiêm bái mọi tīrtha (thánh độ), thì những nơi hành hương mà thân xác không thể đến—vì đường đi hiểm trở hay địa thế gồ ghề—hãy được viếng thăm bằng tâm, bằng sự quán niệm và duyệt xét tất cả các tīrtha. Lời dạy khẳng định rằng ý nguyện chân thành và sự hồi tưởng nội tâm có thể hoàn tất điều thân thể không làm được, mà vẫn không rời mục đích đạo đức của cuộc hành hương.
