Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
मातरं पितरं चैव शुश्रूषन्ति जितेन्द्रिया: । | 4 058 सस्नेहास्ते नरा: स्वर्गगामिन:,जो होकर माता-पिताकी सेवा करते हैं तथा भाइयोंपर स्नेह रखते हैं, वे लोग स्वर्गलोकमें जाते हैं
mātaraṃ pitaraṃ caiva śuśrūṣanti jitendriyāḥ | sasnehās te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Những người tự chế, tận tâm phụng dưỡng mẹ cha và giữ lòng thương mến đối với anh em của mình—những người ấy sẽ đạt đến các cõi trời.
