bhīṣma uvāca | atha sā strī tam uvāca bāḍham evaṁ bhavatv iti | tailaṁ divyam upādāya snānaśāṭīm upānayat |

Bhīṣma nói: Bấy giờ người đàn bà ấy thưa với ông: “Vậy thì xin được như lời ngài.” Nói rồi, nàng lấy dầu linh diệu và mang đến tấm vải dùng khi tắm. Câu chuyện tiếp tục nâng giọng đạo lý của cuộc đối thoại: sự thuận theo mau mắn, lòng hiếu khách, và việc chuẩn bị cẩn trọng cho một hành vi tẩy tịnh—sự sạch sẽ bên ngoài làm chỗ nương cho kỷ luật nội tâm và dharma.
