Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
Parāśara nói: “Biết rõ điều ước đã an định trong lòng ta, bậc tối thượng giữa chư thiên phán với ta: ‘Hỡi hiền giả, chính nhờ sức mạnh của khát nguyện cung kính hướng về ta—niềm mong cầu ân huệ ấy—ngươi sẽ được một người con mang tên Kṛṣṇa.’”
