Transliteration

māgho 'yaṃ samanuprāpto māsaḥ saumyo yudhiṣṭhira | tribhāgaśeṣaḥ pakṣo 'yaṃ śuklo bhavitum arhati ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Yudhiṣṭhira, theo lịch âm, tháng Māgha hiền hòa nay đã đến. Đây là nửa tháng sáng; một phần đã trôi qua, và còn lại ba phần.”
