सौम्या गौ: सुरभियद्देवी विश्रवाश्व महानृषि: । संकल्प: सागरो गजड्जा स्रवन्त्यो5थ मरुद्गण:
bhīṣma uvāca |
saumyā gauḥ surabhir yad devī viśravāś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ |
saṅkalpaḥ sāgaraḥ gaṅgādyāḥ sravantyo 'tha marudgaṇaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Trong bản liệt kê thiêng liêng về danh xưng của chư thiên và các bậc hiền triết ấy, cũng có: bò thần Surabhi hiền hòa; đại hiền Viśravā; Saṅkalpa—sức mạnh của ý chí quyết định; Đại dương; các dòng sông tuôn chảy bắt đầu từ Gaṅgā; và đoàn quân Maruts.”
