यदि यत्नो भवेन्मर्त्य: स सर्व फलमाप्नुयात् नालभ्यं चोपलभ्येत नृणां भरतसत्तम
yadi yatno bhaven martyaḥ sa sarva-phalam āpnuyāt | nālabhyaṃ copalabhyeta nṛṇāṃ bharata-sattama || bharata-bhūṣaṇa |
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Nếu chỉ riêng nỗ lực của con người luôn quyết định, ắt hẳn ai cũng đạt được mọi kết quả. Nhưng, hỡi bậc ưu tú của dòng Bharata, điều gì do sức mạnh của số mệnh mà con người không thể với tới thì dù gắng gượng đến đâu cũng không trở thành có thể.”
