ऋषयश्चापि देवाश्ष गन्धर्वाप्सरसस्तथा । लिड्रमेवार्चयन्ति सम यत् तदूर्ध्व समास्थितम्
ṛṣayaś cāpi devāś ca gandharvāpsarasas tathā | liṅgam evārcayanti sama yat tad ūrdhvaṃ samāsthitam ||
Vāyu nói: “Các bậc hiền triết, chư thiên, cùng các Gandharva và Apsaras đều thờ phụng chính liṅga ấy, liṅga được an lập nơi thượng giới.” Câu kệ nhấn mạnh rằng ngay cả những bậc cao quý cũng tôn kính Śiva qua việc thờ liṅga; lòng cung kính ấy làm Mahādeva hoan hỷ, và Ngài—đấng thương mến người sùng tín—ban cho họ an lạc và hạnh phúc.
