अकस्माच्च प्रहसति तथाकस्मात् प्ररोदिति । न चास्य वयसा तुल्य: पृथिव्यामभवत् तदा,वे अकस्मात् जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगते और अचानक फूट-फूटकर रो पड़ते थे। उस समय इस पृथ्वीपर उनका समवयस्क कोई नहीं था
akasmācca prahasati tathākasmāt praroditi | na cāsya vayasā tulyaḥ pṛthivyām abhavat tadā ||
Vāyu-deva nói: “Không vì cớ gì rõ ràng, ông ta bỗng bật cười vang; rồi cũng đột ngột như thế, ông ta òa khóc. Khi ấy, trên cõi đất này không có ai đồng niên có thể sánh với ông ta.”
वायुदेव उवाच
