महतकश्नू्णितान् पश्य ये हासन्त महोदधिम् | सुवर्णधारिणा नित्यमवशप्ता द्विजातिना
mahataḥ kṣṇūṇitān paśya ye hāsanta mahodadhim | suvarṇadhāriṇā nityam avaśaptā dvijātinā ||
Arjuna nói: “Hãy nhìn những bậc hùng mạnh ấy—nay đã hóa thành tro bụi—những kẻ từng coi nhẹ cả đại dương. Họ đã bị lời nguyền không thể hóa giải của vị hiền thánh song sinh, Kapila, bậc luôn mang sắc vàng rực. Đây là các con trai của Sagara, đã đến tận biển để tìm con ngựa tế lễ, giờ chỉ còn nằm lại như những đống tro.”
