क्षेत्रमध्ये तु पठतः सर्व सस्य॑ प्ररोहति । गच्छत: क्षेममध्वानं ग्रामान्तरगत: पठन्‌

Transliteration

kṣetramadhye tu paṭhataḥ sarvaṃ sasyaṃ prarohati | gacchataḥ kṣemamadhvānaṃ grāmāntaragataḥ paṭhan |

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Ai tụng đọc danh sách thánh danh này giữa ruộng đồng thì mọi mùa màng đều nảy nở và thịnh vượng. Ai tụng đọc khi đang đi sang làng khác thì con đường hành trình ấy sẽ kết thúc trong an toàn và hanh thông.
