Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
एष तस्यानवद्यस्य नारदस्य महात्मन: । संदेशो देवपूजार्थ तं तथा कुरु पाण्डव,पाण्डुनन्दन! उन अनिन्द्य महात्मा देवर्षि नारदजीका ही यह संदेश है कि महादेवजीकी पूजा करनी चाहिये। इसलिये तुम भी ऐसा ही करो
eṣa tasyānavadyasya nāradasya mahātmanaḥ | saṃdeśo devapūjārtha taṃ tathā kuru pāṇḍava, pāṇḍunandana ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Đây chính là thông điệp của hiền thánh Nārada, bậc đại hồn vô tì vết, được truyền vì việc thờ phụng Thần linh. Vậy nên, hỡi Pāṇḍava—con của Pāṇḍu—hãy làm đúng như thế.”
