Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
य एष कथितो राजन् मया सज्जनसंनिधौ । शड्करस्योमया सार्ध संवादो धर्मसंहित:,नरेश्वर! भगवान् शंकरका पार्वतीजीके साथ जो धर्मविषयक संवाद हुआ था, उसे इन सत्पुरुषोंके निकट मैंने तुम्हें सुना दिया
ya eṣa kathito rājan mayā sajjana-saṁnidhau | śaṅkarasyomayā sārdhaṁ saṁvādo dharma-saṁhitaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi Đại vương, trước mặt các bậc hiền đức này, ta nay đã thuật lại cho ngài nghe cuộc đối thoại về dharma đã diễn ra giữa Đấng Thánh Śaṅkara và Umā.”
