श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच ब्राह्मणान्‌ वेदविदुष: सिद्धान्‌ धर्मविदस्तथा । परिपृच्छन्त्यहरह: कुशला: कुशलं तथा

Transliteration

śrīmaheśvara uvāca brāhmaṇān vedaviduṣaḥ siddhān dharmavidās tathā | paripṛcchanty aharahaḥ kuśalāḥ kuśalaṃ tathā ||

Translation

Śrī Maheśvara phán: Ngày qua ngày, bậc trí giả đều kính cẩn hỏi thăm an lành của các bà-la-môn đã thành tựu—những vị thông Veda và thấu hiểu dharma. Nhờ tôn kính bậc học giả bằng lời thăm hỏi cung kính, lại từ bỏ việc bất tường để thực hành điều cát tường, họ được lên cõi trời ở đời sau và hưởng hạnh phúc bền vững ngay trong đời này.
