।। विपरीतस्तु धर्मात्मा रूपवानभिजायते

Transliteration

viparītastu dharmātmā rūpavān abhijāyate | devi! hiṁsāpremī manuṣyaḥ svapāpakarmakāraṇād anyeṣāṁ vadhyaḥ sarvaprāṇinām apriyaś cālpāyuś ca bhavati ||

Translation

Maheshvara nói: “Nhưng kẻ có bản tính trái ngược với bạo lực thì sinh ra với tâm hồn chính trực, lại được dung mạo đoan nghiêm. Ôi Devi, người ưa làm hại kẻ khác, do nghiệp ác của mình, sẽ trở thành kẻ đáng bị người khác giết, bị muôn loài chán ghét, và yểu mệnh.”
