Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti
The verse foregrounds satya (truthfulness) as a defining ethical power: Umā validates her promise by asserting she never speaks falsehood, and the boon is framed as a reliable, dharmically grounded utterance whose results are ‘akṣaya’ (unfailing).
Umā addresses Kṛṣṇa and confirms that what has been spoken will indeed occur. She declares her unwavering truthfulness and grants boons: a vast royal household (sixteen thousand wives), enduring affection within it, and inexhaustible prosperity.
