संहिताध्यायिना भाव्य॑ गृहे वै गृहमेधिना । नित्यं स्वाध्यायिना भाव्यं न चाध्ययनजीविना

Transliteration

saṃhitādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ gṛhe vai gṛhamedhinā | nityaṃ svādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ na ca adhyayanajīvinā ||

Translation

Maheshvara nói: “Người gia chủ, khi sống trong nhà, phải là người học tụng các Saṃhitā và giữ kỷ luật trong việc học. Phải chuyên cần tự học mỗi ngày, nhưng không được biến việc học thành kế sinh nhai.”
