इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें प्रायक्षित्तविधि नामक एक सौ छत्तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāreṇa śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi prāyaścittavidhi-nāmakaḥ ekaśata-ṣaṭtriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Như vậy, trong bộ Mahābhārata thiêng liêng, thuộc Anuśāsana Parva, trong phần nói về dharma của bố thí (dāna-dharma), chương thứ một trăm ba mươi sáu mang tên “Nghi thức sám hối (prāyaścitta)” đã được kết thúc. Công thức kết truyện báo hiệu việc hoàn tất lời giáo huấn của Bhīṣma về cách xử lý lỗi lầm theo đạo lý bằng những hành vi chuộc lỗi và thanh tịnh được quy định.
