Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

य: पूर्वमसृजद्‌ देवं ब्रह्माणं लोकभावनम्‌ । अण्डमाकाशमापूर्य वरं तस्माद्‌ वृणीमहे

Transliteration

yaḥ pūrvam asṛjad devaṁ brahmāṇaṁ lokabhāvanam | aṇḍam ākāśam āpūrya varaṁ tasmād vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

Đế Thích (Indra) thưa: “Đấng nào thuở ban sơ đã sinh ra thần Phạm Thiên (Brahmā), bậc nâng đỡ và kiến tạo các thế giới, lại làm đầy cõi hư không mênh mông bằng trứng vũ trụ—chính từ Đại Chúa Tể ấy, chúng ta cầu xin một ân phúc.”
