Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

तद्धक्तस्तद्गतो नित्य॑ तन्निष्ठस्तत्परायण: । भज पुत्र महादेवं ततः प्राप्स्यसि चेप्सितम्‌

tadbhaktas tadgato nityaṁ tannisṭhas tatparāyaṇaḥ | bhaja putra mahādevaṁ tataḥ prāpsyasi cepsitam ||

Vāsudeva nói: “Hãy một lòng sùng kính Ngài; để tâm ngươi luôn chìm trong Ngài. Hãy đứng vững trong lời thệ nguyện duy nhất ấy, lấy Ngài làm nơi nương tựa tối thượng. Con ơi, hãy không ngừng thờ phụng Mahādeva; rồi con sẽ đạt được điều con cầu mong.”
