Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यक्षराक्षससर्पाणां दैत्यदानवयोरपि । वपुर्धारयते देवो भूयश्व विलवासिनाम्
yakṣarākṣasasarpaṇāṁ daityadānavayor api | vapur dhārayate devo bhūyaś ca bilavāsinām ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Đấng Thiêng liêng mang lấy thân hình ngay cả trong hàng yakṣa, rākṣasa và loài rắn; cũng như trong hàng daitya và dānava; và quả thật, hết lần này đến lần khác, Ngài còn nhận lấy thân thể của những kẻ cư ngụ nơi các cõi dưới lòng đất.”
