Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
एवमुक्ता तदा कृष्ण माता मे सुतवत्सला । मूर्थन्याप्राय गोविन्द सबाष्पाकुललोचना
evam uktā tadā kṛṣṇa mātā me sutavatsalā | mūrdhny āprāya govinda sabāṣpākulalocanā ||
Khi con nói như vậy, mẹ con—dịu dàng trong tình mẫu tử—bỗng òa lệ. Ôi Govinda, mẹ ghé sát, áp mặt lên đầu con như muốn hít lấy hương tóc, đôi mắt mờ đi vì nước mắt, tay vuốt ve các chi thể con. Rồi với dáng vẻ trĩu nặng và giọng nói thấp buồn, mẹ cất lời.
