Viṣṇu-sahasranāma—Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Recitation (विष्णोर्नामसहस्रम्)
अरुन्धत्युवाच तपोवृद्धिर्मया प्राप्ता भवतां स्मरणेन वै । भवतां च प्रसादेन धर्मान् वक्ष्यामि शाश्वतान्
aruṇdaty uvāca | tapovṛddhir mayā prāptā bhavatāṁ smaraṇena vai | bhavatāṁ ca prasādena dharmān vakṣyāmi śāśvatān |
Arundhatī nói: “Nhờ các vị tưởng niệm đến ta mà sức khổ hạnh của ta được tăng trưởng. Và nhờ ân huệ của các vị, nay ta sẽ thuyết giảng những nguyên lý dharma vĩnh cửu, cùng với những ý nghĩa nội mật cần được gìn giữ. Hãy lắng nghe. Những giáo huấn này chỉ nên truyền dạy cho người có lòng tin và tâm đã thanh tịnh.”
