षड्विशवत्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: विष्णु

Transliteration

Bhīṣma uvāca: kena te ca bhavet prītiḥ? kathaṃ tuṣṭiṃ tu gacchasi? iti pṛṣṭaḥ surendreṇa provāca Harir Īśvaraḥ.

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Điều gì làm Ngài hoan hỷ, và bằng cách nào Ngài mới thật sự được thỏa mãn?” Được Surendra (Indra), chúa tể chư thiên, hỏi như vậy, Hari—Đấng Tối Thượng—liền đáp lời. (Bhīṣma kể với Yudhiṣṭhira một chuyện xưa: Indra hỏi Viṣṇu việc gì khiến Ngài vui lòng, mở đầu cho lời dạy về những huyền áo của dharma.)
