भूतिकामेन मर्त्येन सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते । इस प्रकार उत्तम कुलमें उत्पन्न हुए ब्राह्मणोंने पूर्वकालमें यह प्रत्यक्ष देखा और अनुभव किया है; अत: अपना कल्याण चाहनेवाले मनुष्योंको शास्त्रमें जिन्हें त्याज्य बतलाया है
bhūtikāmena martyena satyam etad bravīmi te |
Śakra nói: “Với kẻ phàm nhân cầu thịnh vượng và an lạc, ta nói với ngươi đây là lời chân thật. Thuở xưa, các Bà-la-môn sinh trong dòng dõi ưu tú đã tận mắt thấy và lấy kinh nghiệm mà chứng nghiệm điều ấy. Vì vậy, ai mong lợi ích cho chính mình thì phải từ bỏ những hành vi mà śāstra đã dạy là nên tránh, và luôn luôn thực hành những bổn phận được truyền dạy. Đó là lời khuyên chân thật ta ban cho ngươi.”
