दानानामुत्तमं यच्च देयं यच्च यथा यथा । मान्यान् पूज्यांश्व गाड़ेय रहस्यं वक्तुमहसि
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | dānānām uttamaṃ yac ca deyaṃ yac ca yathā yathā | mānyān pūjyāṃś ca gāṅgeya rahasyaṃ vaktum arhasi gaṅgānandana ||
Yudhiṣṭhira thưa: “Ôi Gāṅgeya, con của sông Gaṅgā, xin hãy nói cho ta giáo huấn bí mật: trong mọi sự bố thí, đâu là tối thượng; nên cho vật gì và cho theo cách nào là đúng phép; và ai mới thật là bậc đáng tôn kính và đáng thờ phụng?”
