Umā’s Inquiry and the Manifestation of the Third Eye (उमा–प्रश्नः तृतीयनेत्रोत्पत्तिः)
केन वृत्तेन कल्याणि समाचारेण केन वा | विधूय सर्वपापानि देवलोक॑ त्वमागता,“कल्याणि! तुमने किस बर्ताव अथवा किस सदाचारके प्रभावसे समस्त पापोंका नाश करके देवलोकमें पदार्पण किया है?
bhīṣma uvāca | kena vṛttena kalyāṇi samācāreṇa kena vā | vidhūya sarvapāpāni devalokaṁ tvam āgatā ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi phu nhân cát tường, nhờ lối sống nào, hay nhờ khuôn phép thiện hạnh nào, mà nàng đã rũ sạch mọi tội lỗi và đạt đến cõi chư thiên? Kỷ luật đạo đức nào đã đưa nàng lên trời?”
