Maitreya–Vyāsa Exemplum
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत अनुशासनपरव्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्म पर्वमें अहिंसाके फलका वर्णनविषयक एक सौ सोलहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsana-parvaṇi antargate dāna-dharma-parvaṇi ahiṁsāyāḥ phala-varṇana-viṣayaka eka-śata-ṣoḍaśatamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
Như vậy, trong Mahābhārata thiêng liêng, thuộc Anuśāsana Parva, trong phần về dharma của bố thí, chương thứ một trăm mười sáu—chuyên thuật về quả báo của ahimsa (bất bạo hại)—đã khép lại.
भीष्म उवाच
