मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
अमृताशी वसंस्तत्र स वितृष्ण: प्रमोदते । देवर्षिचरितं राजन् राजर्षिभिरनुछितम्
amṛtāśī vasaṃs tatra sa vitṛṣṇaḥ pramodate | devarṣicaritaṃ rājan rājarṣibhir anūcitam, yugakalpasahasrāṇi trīṇy āvasati vai sukham |
Bhishma nói: Ở đó, sống bằng lương thực cam lộ, không còn khát ái, người ấy hân hoan. Tâu đại vương, bậc mang hình tướng thần diệu ấy lắng nghe và suy niệm về hạnh trạng của các thánh hiền cõi trời như các vương hiền đã truyền dạy; rồi ngự trên cỗ xa giá thiên giới thượng hạng, vui đùa trong men say hoan lạc cùng những thiếu nữ kiều diễm, và an trú nơi ấy an vui suốt ba nghìn yuga và kalpa. Đoạn này nhấn mạnh rằng sự hưởng thụ ở các cõi cao đến từ vô dục và việc noi theo gương mẫu cao quý, chứ không phải từ sự nắm giữ tham cầu.
