Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
न गुरावकृतप्रज्ञे शक््यं शिष्येण वर्तितुम् । गुरोहिं दीर्घदर्शित्वं यत् तच्छिष्यस्य भारत
bhīṣma uvāca | na gurāv akṛtaprajñe śakyaṃ śiṣyeṇa vartitum | guroḥ hi dīrghadarśitvaṃ yat tac chiṣyasya bhārata |
Bhishma nói: “Người môn đồ không thể giữ trọn kỷ luật dưới một bậc thầy có phán đoán chưa chín. Hỡi Bharata, tầm nhìn xa của bậc thầy thế nào thì phẩm chất ấy cũng phản chiếu nơi môn đồ—khi người trưởng thượng thật sự biết nhìn xa, kẻ hậu bối cũng trở nên biết nhìn xa.”
