नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
एवं धूपप्रदानं च दीपदानं च साधव: । प्रयच्छन्ति नमस्कारैर्युक्तमात्मगुणावहम्,इस प्रकार श्रेष्ठ पुरुष अपने लिये लाभदायक समझकर देवताओंको नमस्कारसहित धूपदान और दीपदान करते हैं
evaṁ dhūpapradānaṁ ca dīpadānaṁ ca sādhavaḥ | prayacchanti namaskārair yuktaṁ ātmaguṇāvaham ||
Bhishma nói: “Bởi vậy, người hiền đức, hiểu rằng những việc ấy đem lợi ích cho mình và nuôi dưỡng phẩm hạnh, liền dâng hương và dâng đèn, kèm theo lễ bái cung kính đối với chư thiên.”
