य एवोक्ता: सुमनसां प्रदाने गुणहेतव: । धूपेष्वपि परिज्ञेयास्त एव प्रीतिवर्धना:

Transliteration

ya evoktāḥ sumanasāṃ pradāne guṇa-hetavaḥ | dhūpeṣv api parijñeyās ta eva prīti-vardhanāḥ ||

Translation

Śukra nói: “Những công đức và lợi ích đã được tuyên dạy về việc dâng hoa lên chư thiên, cũng nên hiểu là áp dụng cho việc dâng hương. Hương cũng làm tăng sự hoan hỷ của các thần linh—điều ấy cần được biết.”
