Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
सद्यः प्रीणाति देवान् वै ते प्रीता भावयन्त्युत । संकल्पसिद्धा मर्त्यानामीप्सितैश्व मनोरमै:
sadyaḥ prīṇāti devān vai te prītā bhāvayanty uta | saṅkalpasiddhā martyānām īpsitaiś ca manoramaiḥ ||
Śukra nói: Nhờ dâng hoa trong lễ bái, con người làm chư thiên vui lòng ngay tức khắc. Khi đã hoan hỷ, những vị thần có ý nguyện tất thành ấy khiến các mục đích của người đời được hưng thịnh, ban cho những hưởng lạc vừa ý, vừa đẹp lòng, để nâng đỡ phúc lợi của họ.
