Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
जनेश्वर! इस गृहस्थ-धर्मका पालन करते रहनेपर तुम इहलोकमें सुयश और परलोकमें स्वर्ग प्राप्त कर लोगे ।। इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि बलिदानविधिनाम सप्तनवतितमो<ध्याय:
janeśvara! asya gṛhastha-dharmasya pālanaṃ satataṃ kurvan tvaṃ iha-loke suyaśaḥ prāpsyasi, para-loke ca svargaṃ prāpsyasi.
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc chúa tể của loài người, nếu ngài tiếp tục gìn giữ dharma của người gia chủ (gṛhastha-dharma) này, thì ở đời này ngài sẽ được tiếng thơm bền lâu, và ở đời sau ngài sẽ đạt đến cõi trời (svarga).” — Như vậy, trong Śrī Mahābhārata, thuộc Anuśāsana Parva, trong phần Dāna-dharma, chương thứ chín mươi bảy, mang tên “Nghi thức tế hiến (bali-dāna)”, đã kết thúc.
