उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
बृस््यां दर्भेषु हव्ये च कव्ये च मुनिसत्तम । एतेन कर्मदोषेण पुरोधास्त्वमजायथा:
bṛsyāṃ darbheṣu havye ca kavye ca munisattama | etena karmadoṣeṇa purodhās tvam ajāyathāḥ ||
Hỡi bậc hiền triết tối thượng! Ngài đã dạy ta cách xử trí đúng nghi lễ đối với tòa ngồi thiêng và cỏ darbha, cùng cách dâng cả havya (lễ vật hiến cho chư thiên) và kavya (lễ phẩm kính dâng tổ tiên). Thế nhưng, chính vì một khiếm khuyết trong phép tắc ấy, ngài đã sinh ra trong đời này làm một purohita—tư tế của gia thất.
