पितर्युपरते चापि कृतशौचस्तु पार्थिव

pitary uparate cāpi kṛtaśaucastu pārthiva

Bhishma nói: “Tâu đại vương, khi phụ thân đã qua đời, trước hết phải hoàn tất các nghi thức tẩy uế theo lệ; rồi bậc quân vương mới nên tiến hành những bổn phận tiếp theo.”
