Śama-prāptiḥ — Gautamī–Lubdhaka–Pannaga–Mṛtyu–Kāla-saṃvāda

Restraint through the Analysis of Karma and Time

शराचितशरीर हि तीव्रव्रणमुदीक्ष्य च । शर्म नोपलभे वीर दुष्कृतान्येव चिन्तयन्‌

śarācitaśarīraṃ hi tīvravraṇam udīkṣya ca | śarma nopalabhe vīra duṣkṛtāny eva cintayan ||

Hỡi dũng sĩ, thấy thân Người cắm đầy mũi tên, lại nhìn những vết thương sâu hoắm, lòng con cứ hết lần này đến lần khác chỉ nghĩ về những điều ác con đã làm. Vì thế con chẳng tìm được chút bình yên nào.
