ययाति-देवयानी-शर्मिष्ठा विवादः — Śukra’s Curse and the Disclosure of Lineage

ऑपन-माजल बछ। डे अष्टसप्ततितमोब< ध्याय: देवयानी और शर्मिष्ठाका कलह, शर्मिष्ठाद्वारा कुएँमें गिरायी गयी देवयानीको ययातिका निकालना और देवयानीका शुक्राचार्यजीके साथ वार्तालाप वैशम्पायन उवाच कृतविद्ये कचे प्राप्ते हृष्टरूपा दिवौकस: । कचादधीत्य तां विद्यां कृतार्था भरतर्षभ,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! जब कच मृतसंजीवनी विद्या सीखकर आ गये, तब देवताओंको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई। वे कचसे उस विद्याको पढ़कर कृतार्थ हो गये

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | kṛtavidye kace prāpte hṛṣṭarūpā divaukasaḥ | kacād adhītya tāṃ vidyāṃ kṛtārthā bharatarṣabha ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Hỡi bậc tráng kiện nhất trong dòng Bharata, khi Kaca trở về sau khi đã tinh thông minh tri thức hồi sinh, chư thiên vô cùng hoan hỷ. Họ học chính khoa ấy từ Kaca và thấy mục đích của mình đã được viên thành.
