ययाति–देवयानी संवादः
Yayāti–Devayānī Dialogue and Śukra’s Consent
ऋषेरज्ञलिरस: पौत्रं पुत्र साक्षाद् बृहस्पते: । नाम्ना कचमिति ख्यातं शिष्यं गृह्नातु मां भवान्,“भगवन्! मैं अंगिरा ऋषिका पौत्र तथा साक्षात् बृहस्पतिका पुत्र हूँ। मेरा नाम कच है। आप मुझे अपने शिष्यके रूपमें ग्रहण करें
ṛṣer añjalirasaḥ pautraṃ putraḥ sākṣād bṛhaspateḥ | nāmnā kacam iti khyātaṃ śiṣyaṃ gṛhṇātu māṃ bhavān ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Con là cháu của Ṛṣi Aṅgiras và là con trai trực tiếp của Bṛhaspati. Con được biết đến với tên Kaca. Bạch bậc tôn kính, xin hãy nhận con làm đệ tử.”
