अग्निशाप-प्रसंगः
Agni’s Curse and the Restoration of Ritual Order
आपो देवगणा: सर्वे आप: पितृगणास्तथा । दर्शश्व॒ पौर्णमासश्न देवानां पितृभि: सह,“जल ही देवता हैं तथा जल ही पितृगण हैं। दर्श और पौर्णमास याग पितरों तथा देवताओंके लिये किये जाते हैं
āpo devagaṇāḥ sarve āpaḥ pitṛgaṇās tathā | darśaś ca paurṇamāsaś ca devānāṃ pitṛbhiḥ saha ||
Śaunaka nói: “Nước chính là hội chúng chư thiên, và nước cũng chính là hội chúng Pitṛ (tổ linh). Các lễ Darśa và Paurṇamāsa được cử hành cho chư thiên cùng với các Pitṛ.”
