Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
एवमन्ये मनुष्येन्द्रा बहवों5शा दिवौकसाम् | जज्ञिरे वसुदेवस्य कुले कुलविवर्धना:,इस प्रकार वसुदेवजीके कुलमें बहुत-से दूसरे-दूसरे नरेन्द्र उत्पन्न हुए, जो देवताओंके अंश थे। वे सभी अपने कुलकी वृद्धि करनेवाले थे
evam anye manuṣyendrā bahavo 'ṁśā divaukasām | jajñire vasudevasya kule kulavivardhanāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Cũng theo cách ấy, trong dòng dõi Vasudeva đã sinh ra nhiều vị vua khác—mỗi người là một phần hiển lộ của chư thần—những bậc làm rạng rỡ và tăng trưởng tông tộc mình.”
