एवं वीर्यबलोल्सिक्ति भूरियत्नैर्महासुरै: । पीड्यमाना मही राजन्‌ ब्रह्माणमुपचक्रमे,राजन्‌! जब इस प्रकार बल और पराक्रमके मदसे उन्मत्त महादैत्य विशेष यत्नपूर्वक इस पृथ्वीको पीड़ा देने लगे, तब यह ब्रह्माजीकी शरणमें जानेको उद्यत हुई

Transliteration

evaṁ vīrya-balolliktaḥ bhūri-yatnaiḥ mahāsuraiḥ | pīḍyamānā mahī rājan brahmāṇam upacakrame ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tâu Đại vương, khi trái đất bị những đại A-tu-la say men sức mạnh và dũng lực, dốc toàn lực không ngừng để áp bức, hành hạ đến mức không còn chịu nổi, nàng liền lên đường tìm nơi nương tựa nơi Phạm Thiên (Brahmā).”
