Tapovana-praveśaḥ — The King’s Entry into the Sacred Grove and Vision of the Āśrama
त्रासयन्तो5भिनिध्नन्तः सर्वभूतगणांश्न ते । विचेरु: सर्वशो राजन् महीं शतसहसत्रश:,राजन! वे असुर लाखोंकी संख्यामें उत्पन्न हुए थे और समस्त प्राणियोंको डराते- धमकाते तथा उनकी हिंसा करते हुए भूमण्डलमें सब ओर घूमते रहते थे
trāsayanto 'bhinighnantaḥ sarvabhūtagāṇāṃś ca te | viceruḥ sarvaśo rājan mahīṃ śatasahasraśaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Tâu Đại vương, chúng lang thang khắp nơi trên mặt đất, đông đến hàng trăm nghìn, gieo kinh hãi cho mọi loài hữu tình và ra tay đánh giết. Hành trạng của chúng là đe dọa và bạo lực, khiến sợ hãi và loạn lạc lan tràn giữa muôn loài.
