नगरं खाण्डवप्रस्थं रत्नान्यादाय सर्वश: । तत्र ते न्‍्यवसन्‌ पार्था: संवत्सरगणान्‌ बहून्‌

nagaraṃ khāṇḍavaprasthaṃ ratnāny ādāya sarvaśaḥ | tatra te nyavasan pārthāḥ saṃvatsaragaṇān bahūn ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Mang theo mọi loại châu báu, các Pārtha tiến đến thành Khāṇḍavaprastha. Tại đó họ an cư, sống qua nhiều năm tháng, dựng lập gia thất và quyền trị vì trong vùng ấy.
