Śṛṅgī’s Curse on King Parikṣit

अव्ययस्याप्रमेयस्य सत्यस्य च तथाग्रत: । शप्ता इत्येव मे श्रुत्वा जायते हृदि वेपथु:,अविनाशी, अप्रमेय तथा सत्यस्वरूप ब्रह्माजीके आगे माताने हमें शाप दिया है--यह सुनकर ही हमारे हृदयमें कम्प छा जाता है

avyayasyāprameyasya satyasya ca tathāgrataḥ | śaptā ityeva me śrutvā jāyate hṛdi vepathuḥ ||

“Chỉ nghe rằng ‘chúng ta đã bị nguyền’—lại là lời nguyền được thốt ra trước Đấng bất hoại, vô lượng, hiện thân của Chân lý—lòng ta đã run rẩy.”
