न चाप्येवं त्वया भूय: क्षेप्तव्या ब्रह्म॒वादिन: । न चावमान्या दर्पात् ते वाग्वज़्ा भूशकोपना:,“एक बात ध्यान रखना--आजसे फिर कभी तुम घमंडमें आकर ब्रह्मवादी महात्माओंका उपहास और अपमान न करना; क्योंकि उनके पास वाणीरूप अमोघ वच् है तथा वे तीक्ष्ण कोपवाले होते हैं!
na cāpy evaṁ tvayā bhūyaḥ kṣeptavyā brahmavādinaḥ | na cāvamānyā darpāt te vāg-vajrā bhṛśa-kopanāḥ ||
Śaunaka nói: “Từ nay về sau, chớ bao giờ lại chế nhạo các bậc brahma-vādin như thế. Đừng vì kiêu mạn mà xúc phạm họ; bởi lời nói của họ như lưỡi sét, ứng nghiệm không sai, và họ có thể nổi cơn thịnh nộ dữ dội. Hãy lấy điều ấy làm luật cho mình từ hôm nay.”
