Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
अभूतपूर्व संग्रामे तदा देवासुरेडपि च । ववुर्वाता: सनिर्घाता: पेतुरुल्का: सहस्रश:
abhūtapūrve saṅgrāme tadā devāsure 'pi ca | vavur vātāḥ sanirghātāḥ petur ulkāḥ sahasraśaḥ ||
Kāśyapa nói: “Ngay cả trong cuộc chiến cổ xưa, chưa từng có giữa chư thần và loài asura, cũng không hề thấy những điềm như thế. Nay, giữa những tiếng sấm rền vang, gió dữ nổi lên, và hàng nghìn sao băng rơi xuống—dấu hiệu rằng trật tự đạo lý và trật tự vũ trụ đang bị khuấy đảo, và một bước ngoặt nghiệt ngã, định mệnh đã kề bên.”
