Chapter 213

कृताभिषेकैर्विद्वद्धिर्नियतै: सत्पथि स्थितै: । शुशुभे5तीव तदू राजन्‌ गड्जाद्वारं महात्मभि:,गंगाके तटपर जब अलग-अलग अग्नियाँ प्रज्वलित हो गयीं और सन्मार्गमें स्थित एवं मन-इन्द्रियोंको वशमें रखनेवाले विद्वान्‌ ब्राह्मणलोग स्नान करके फूलोंके उपहार चढ़ाकर जब पूर्वोक्त अग्नियोंमें आहुति दे चुके, तब उन महात्माओंके द्वारा उस गंगाद्वार नामक तीर्थकी शोभा बहुत बढ़ गयी

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kṛtābhiṣekair vidvadbhir niyataiḥ satpathi sthitaiḥ | śuśubhe 'tīva tadā rājan gaṅgādvāraṁ mahātmabhiḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Tâu Đại vương, khi ấy Gaṅgādvāra rực rỡ lạ thường, được tô điểm bởi những bậc đại nhân—học rộng và nghiêm trì—đã hoàn tất lễ tắm thiêng và các nghi thức thánh hóa, vẫn kiên định trên con đường chính pháp. Cảnh ấy cho thấy: tự chế và nghi lễ đúng phép, khi đi cùng học vấn và đức hạnh, sẽ làm đẹp thánh địa và nâng cao bầu không khí tâm linh của cộng đồng.
