शान्तिपर्व ततो यत्र राजधर्मानुशासनम् | आपद्धर्मश्न पर्वोक्त मोक्षधर्मस्ततः परम्,इसके बाद शान्तिपर्व प्रारम्भ होता है; जिसमें राजधर्मानुशासन, आपद्धर्म और मोक्षधर्मपर्व हैं
Śāntiparva tato yatra rājadharmānuśāsanam | āpaddharmaś ca parvokto mokṣadharmas tataḥ param ||
Sau đó là Śānti Parva, nơi trình bày giáo huấn về bổn phận của bậc quân vương và phép trị quốc; trong đó cũng có lời dạy về cách hành xử khi gặp tai biến (āpaddharma), và vượt lên trên nữa là luận thuyết về giải thoát (mokṣadharma).
